Is your lighthouse on?

Alenka Lena Klopčič

Guess what - only when your inner lighthouse is on, the magic of life will happen!

“With text messaging and e-mails buzzing in our pockets, our constant availability for phone calls, and hot new apps and social media on our phones, we are more distracted, more unfocused and more enmeshed in sweating the small stuff than ever before.

And this leads to many of us feeling like we're sprinting every day but really not getting anywhere,” says Dean Graziosi, famous success coach and author in his best-seller Millionaire Success Habits: The Gateway to Wealth & Prosperity.

On the other hand, we strive for more free time, for more qualitative time, for more wholeness, for more --- life! Clearly, we risk of witnessing – if not experiencing – some major crash here; if the inner lighthouse is not in operation. Hence, action crucially needed!

Some light bulbs please.
The good news is that no science lies in raising questions to ourselves like who am I, what interests me, what do I want to become, how will I get there, but the bad news might appear that this – however philosophical might all this sound – is the crucial and necessary first step we have to take in order to get to some light bulbs.

Well, honestly, the first question is probably the one most philosophical one and might be not only the one we would describe as a ‘million dollar question’, but more as a ‘life-long seeking answer one’. However, if we have at least an idea of what could the answer be in this exact moment, we might get a better idea for the next answers we are in search for.

For instance – how we will know where we want to go and how will we get there if we don’t know what is our starting point? So, if we know at least if we are in West and we want to go more to the Midwest --- well, that’s a starting point! If we don’t know if we are in South or North, how do we even know if we want to go somewhere else? Well, maybe we know at least if we’re cold or warm and whether we like the feeling of it – that too could be a start of the starting point. But you get the idea – we need to start raising (inner) questions.

This process will start to spin our inner engines and the wheels will start spinning towards action. Light bulbs will start mildly shining.

Who wants some magic?
And why we even want these stupid light bulbs, one might ask. Well, because you probably don’t want to spend the rest of the adult life on the mama’s couch or cleaning some other millionaire’s floor, when you could clean your own (just a metaphor; of course you would then pay somebody else to do that for you and keep your money-energy flowing )! And because you probably want to feel this beautiful feeling of achieving something extraordinary, something beyond you, something that draws a bliss of honest smile not only to your face but into your heart.

No word can share a feeling of seeing other people and even animals experiencing overwhelming joy, gratefulness (being to some circumstance or to life itself; animals are capable doing that, people unfortunately not that often) or even harmony thanks to something we might happen to be a part of. But this can happen only when our own lives are fulfilled and we are capable of sharing our empathy and altruism on wider scale. Hence, action needed!
Only then we can not only see, but experience firsthand how magnificently beautiful human nature can be. And this is the ‘magic beyond’.

A small personal touch
Yes, you can read this blog in a sense that becoming rich is the only precondition to experience the real wholeness of life, but this would indeed be a shallow reading. As Dean Graziosi also puts it - “Getting wealthy may not cure every problem, but it sure can cure a lot of them.” and we for sure would not argue with that. Moreover, the author of these lines personally experienced bankruptcy of a family company before turning fifteen, and therefore a feeling of being completely broke with no roof above the head and with an empty stomach, not mentioning the parental disputes and tensions till finally the separation and brake of the whole family came --- well, all this is very familiar.

Nevertheless, this hasn’t stopped that same teenager to dream. Dream a small wooden house in nature. A house in which a wholeness of her life would be realized next to a loving man and two (a little bit weird) doggies. (As it turned out – weird because they were stray dogs.) A house in which she would have a lovely working space and she would do only those things that matter to her and in which she would feel completely fulfilled.

Now, this was a really special dream. The one in which a protagonist can feel itself in time and space so strong that even smell (of a qualitative wood) is present. So it turned out that this was not only a dream, it was a manifestation. A totally serious manifestation, the kind they sell courses for today. Only the girl, I was at that time, didn’t have a clue at that time what she is doing, she was “just” in touch with inner self and she intuitively nourished it as an the apple of her eye.

As I realize today, in my early forties, my lighthouse was on the whole time. I knew where I was standing (being poor, which also brought some loneliness) and where I want to go (being well-off and surrounded by love). In order to be able to share love (and to be able to adopt doggies I meet on streets when travelling to the developing countries among others), I also had to be loved.
Hence, I didn’t know the way how I was going to make my dream (or manifestation as it turned) true; I just knew I will make it true. The magic happened by itself, I just let it. And the magic is still happening to me till this very day. It has some strange life turns, I give you that, but overall I can confidently say that I trust in the ‘Universe’ (or however you want to call it), I trust in Nature (this could also be understood as a matter in physical sense) and above all – I trust in myself.

“Confidence builds and doubt dies when your heart is aligned with your actions.” - Dean Graziosi, Millionaire Success Habits: The Gateway to Wealth & Prosperity

To conclude, I am deeply grateful to my inner lighthouse and I honestly wish you, our dear reader, to light it on too. (Pst! If you don’t have a clue where to start, I have some extra light bulbs for you, just reach out to me. )
